It is also good exercise for your brain as we learn step patterns\, that we then dance to music. The other health benefits (for muscles\, lungs and brain) are add-ons. I have been teaching for about 4 years and since I recognize people have different styles of learning I make it a point to cover those different styles when I teach. I like helping others succeed at this activity that has so many benefits.
