9/21 Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia

Join us to learn basic information on the difference between Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia. This class will provide education on the stages, risk factors and current research. We will learn about the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s, FDA-approved treatments, community resources and information about local support groups.

About the Instructor:
Jennine Greenwell is Jackson County’s Older Adult Behavioral Health Specialist with Jackson County Health & Human Services and the Oregon Health Authority. Her job is to bring resources, education, and training to the older adult community. Jennine has a master’s degree in Human Services and currently is a resident of Jacksonville.
