1/4 Setting Intentions for 2026 – Retreat Using Wisdom of Slow, Mindful Yoga

Join Lori Taft-Sours, PhD, Certified Brain Longevity® Specialist, on SUNDAY, January 4, 1-4pm for this in-person retreat using the wisdom and practices of slow, mindful Yoga to prepare mind, body and soul for the year ahead. Slow, mindful yoga uses breath,  slow movement with awareness, guided relaxation, and meditation to bring increased calm and focus to our mind and body, self-regulate our nervous system, and deepen self-understanding. 

Slow, mindful yoga can help you:

  • develop internal and external awareness of your body
  • develop greater strength and balance so you lower your risk of falling
  • learn how to “tend and befriend” your body, mind, and spirit
  • manage your stress response
  • improve your sleep

Instructor Bio: Lori Sours, PhD, has been teaching yoga since 2014 and is a certified Yoga Teacher at the 500-hour level with Yoga Alliance. Beyond Lori’s certification work, her specialized training includes teaching yoga for healthy aging and chair yoga for brain and body health. She is passionate about introducing the benefits of slow, mindful yoga, including chair yoga, to people who want to feel their best every day and age wisely.
