Speaker Bio: With 10+ years of experience at S.O. Humane, Estrella Cervantes has dedicated her career to improving the lives of shelter animals through compassionate care, community engagement, progressive lifesaving strategies. In 2019, she earned a Maddie’s Fund Certification in the Feline Lifesaving Master Class, deepening her expertise in feline care and shelter programming. In 2025, Estrella earned her certification in Dog and Cat Lifesaving Fundamentals with the Southern Utah University. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Family and Animal Services, continuing to expand her knowledge and skills in animal welfare and nonprofit work.
