Presenter Bio: Dr. Ron Sand lives in Jacksonville, close to his grandchildren. For the past 20 years, he has worked in the field of palliative care and hospice as a physician and medical educator. His current role finds him providing palliative medical care in collaboration with a community-based palliative care service in rural counties of northern California.
