Wild Women of Jacksonville: Archaeological and Historical Challenges to the Myths, Misrepresentation, and Erasure of 19th century Women in Southern Oregon.
This history talk will draw on nearly two decades of Chelsea Rose’s work in Jacksonville
and the surrounding area, highlighting the ways in which women have been
stereotyped or erased from the historical record. You will meet invisible wives,

place we live.
