Chocolate Bourbon Pie & Cool Gazpacho Soup

Jacksonville residents and foodie lovers, Val & Jerry Pendzick, will share the JCC kitchen with Val starting the workshop with a chilled soup favorite ? Gazpacho. While sampling the Gazpacho served with crusty bread & tapas, Jerry will demonstrate how to make a perfect pie crust with a decadent chocolate bourbon filling! Thinking ahead to the holidays, we think you?ll want to include both recipes in your menu plans. Bring a friend to share in this fun-filled afternoon. Recipes and tasting will be shared with all participants!
Instructor Bios: Jerry Pendzick discovered his love for cooking upon retirement, and shares his talents with his wife Val along with friends and family. Val Pendzick, a retired teacher, also enjoys sharing her time-tested recipes. Together this dynamic duo collaboration on a variety of culinary specialties with desserts as a personal favorite.
