In this month of July, we recognize our charismatic volunteer, Janney Marin. As a program assistant, Janney provides a warm welcome to our Tai Chi and Qi Gong attendees. She loves being involved with the JCC because it brings so much to all in the Jacksonville community-the classes, the meeting room, and the beautiful gardens. She discovered JCC when looking for classes to attend and found Carolyn’s Tai Chi and Qi Gong. Having worked in healthcare administration for 40 years, Janney’s skillset in learning new registration systems made her the perfect fit to help when the registration process became computerized and she didn’t hesitate to be of assistance. After 20-plus years of living in other communities in the valley, she was blessed to return to Jacksonville to retire and volunteer.
