Practice Tai Chi and relax while you tone and gently exercise your body. Tai Chi incorporates balance, breathing, and slow movements of the entire body while relaxing your mind. I present Tai Chi with a focus on how the legs and torso are the basis for the motions of the arms and hands. Together we identify everyday tasks that can safely incorporate these purposeful movements. Gradually improve your posture, balance, flexibility and sense of wellbeing by the continued practice of this Chinese art form.
Tai chi is taught every Wednesday by Pete Leonard who lives in Jacksonville. Pete is donating his time and the class fee goes to support classes at JCC. New students can begin the class anytime. Basics and review on the first Wednesday of the month. The class fee is $5.00.
